MesEdge Return Conveyor Line for Edge Banders

Automatic return line that brings panels back to the infeed of the edge banding machine. A single operator can band all 4 edges – saving one worker and speeding up production. For panels from 250 × 50 mm up to 2800 × 1200 mm, 9–60 mm thick.
The MesEdge return conveyor line automatically returns panels to the infeed of the edge banding machine (e.g. KDT KE-712GUBT). The operator feeds the panel manually; after edge banding, the line brings it back to the loading side – one operator can band all 4 edges.
Workflow
- After edge banding, the panel moves onto the rotary lifting transfer.
- Long panels are fed onto the wide belt conveyor by an auxiliary unit.
- The conveyors deliver the panel to the lifting air float table, where the operator stacks it or feeds it back for the next edge.
- When banding the short edges of narrow long panels, a lower auxiliary mechanism with limit wheels turns the panel into the correct direction.
- An outfeed belt conveyor with pressure wheels and stopper is added at the machine outlet.

- Short edge only: width < 800 mm → length up to 2800 mm; 800–1000 mm → up to 2440 mm; 1000–1200 mm → up to 2000 mm
- Thickness: 9–60 mm

The final configuration is adapted to each project. Due to unforeseeable circumstances (panel warping, thickness variations) some workpieces may not return automatically and may require manual assistance.
