Dry/liquid vane pumps are used in the wood industry, where there is a lot of dust, as they are not sensitive to demanding working conditions compared to oil vacuum pumps. Blowers usually have higher air flow and less vacuum compared to vacuum pumps. They are intended for use on more porous materials such as MDF, and due to their lower price and accessibility, they are also used on classic CNC or Nesting machines.
