KDT KN-612 NCHSD throughfeed CNC machine
Throughfeed Hybrid CNC Machining Center KDT KN-612 NCHSD enables simultaneous drilling and milling of two workpieces and complete machining of all six sides with exceptional precision and speed.
It is equipped with three independent drilling heads with a total of 51 drill bits, four routing units with automatic tool change, and a groove saw, ensuring outstanding flexibility and efficiency in production.
A two-level tool magazine with six positions allows fast tool preparation and changeover, while the throughfeed system with automatic workpiece return ensures a continuous work cycle and maximum productivity.
THROUGHFEED CNC MACHINE KDT KN-612 NCHSD
KDT KN-612 NCHSD is an extremely productive throughfeed CNC machine for drilling, routing, and sawing. It features three independent drilling units that allow the processing of two workpieces simultaneously, ensuring high productivity. Two drilling heads are positioned on the top and one on the bottom. One of the advantages of this machine is the side drilling capability with two upper units. The bottom drilling unit is compactly designed to take up minimal space. This reduces the opening in the worktable, providing greater support for the workpiece during drilling, which ensures improved stability and machining accuracy.
The machine is equipped with an integrated grooving saw Ø120 mm designed for back panel grooves.
The KN-612 NCHSD also includes four independent routing units for grooves and cutouts on all six sides. A new feature is the 6 kW router with a fixed angular head and four outputs for side grooves from all four sides. An additional fixed bottom routing unit has a manual tool change, meaning there are two bottom routing units for two different grooving cutters. The main upper routing unit (5.5 kW) is equipped with an automatic tool changer with 6 positions.
Machine operation is simple via an industrial computer (Windows) and KDT DrillTop software. A barcode reader for working with barcodes is included. The machine supports ONLINE service via TeamViewer, and programs can be created both on the machine and in the office. The package also includes a 1-year LestrojBOX license for automatic furniture creation.
Dual independent clamps enable faster and more precise operation. The clamp rail length is 5500 mm, allowing the machining of long workpieces without re-clamping. The air-assisted infeed table facilitates easy handling of delicate surfaces, while the cross conveyor system ensures smooth outfeed. A conveyor belt removes waste material.
The machine is easy to use, requires no mechanical adjustments, and with the use of barcodes, does not require an experienced operator.
