Veritas Double Marking Gauge

Veritas double marking gauge is a precise woodworking tool designed for fast and repeatable marking of two measurements at the same time. It is equipped with two independently adjustable guide rods, allowing easy switching between two dimensions without readjustment.

The hardened steel cutting wheels cut the wood fibers instead of tearing them, resulting in clean and precise grooves even across the grain. The wheels are mounted at opposing angles, ensuring correct orientation of the cut relative to the waste material.

The aluminum body with a brass front face and stainless steel guides provides long service life and stability during use. Internal friction rings create slight resistance for smooth adjustment, while the screw allows secure locking of the selected measurement.

A special feature of the tool is the eccentric placement of the guides, which increases contact area and prevents tipping on the work surface. Individual blades can be stored in the body, allowing use as a single marking gauge and safe storage.
