IGM Lathe Tool is used for shaping hollow vessels, especially those with narrow necks. It is designed for use on a lathe and is suitable for both beginners and professional users.
Each part of the blade is adapted to various steps of the cavity-making process, thus ensuring a specific angle of cavity creation.
The level design of the chrome-coated steel neck allows the knife to rest on the tool rest on the lathe. Along with the sturdy ergonomic handle made of beech wood, the cavity-making process is simple and comfortable. The durable carbide tip
does not require sharpening. When worn, simply rotate the tip. The tip should be replaced as soon as the edge has hardened everywhere. The knife creates a very smooth surface that does not require complicated sharpening.
