Clamps

Two automatic clamps, moving at up to 140m/min, dramatically shorten the work cycle compared with other through‑feed CNCs on the market. Guide lengths of 3900mm (model610) or 5600mm (model612) greatly reduce the need to re‑clamp the workpiece, further speeding up the process. KDT through‑feed CNCs are therefore among the fastest machines available. Clamp engagement via a foot pedal or mobile pendant simplifies operation and increases flexibility.


Tool magazine

The 5-position tool magazine for automatic tool changes also accommodates angle heads for machining door wings, side grooves, and other operations enabled by angle heads.


Configuration

Configuration of the machining units for maximum flexibility and speed: two drilling units with 20 + 9 spindles (upper and lower), two routing units 5.5 kW + 3.5 kW (upper and lower), integrated grooving saw and automatic tool changer. Six-sided machining enables simultaneous processing of both sides without flipping the workpiece and more efficient through-feed routing and drilling without the need for specialized drilling heads or cutters. Automatic system for automatically inspecting and...

The system for automatic inspection and measurement of a workpiece’s length, width and thickness greatly reduces the potential for human error when operating the CNC. Once the machine detects the actual dimensions of the panel, it can automatically adjust drill positions. The KDT software then ensures that all corrections remain within your predefined tolerances. If a workpiece falls outside those tolerances, the program automatically rejects it.


Work tables

Our patented automatic retractable work tables enable efficient through-feed routing and allow the table to retract for under-table drilling. The front infeed and rear outfeed tables are air-cushioned for easier workpiece movement across the table and to protect delicate panel surfaces from damage.


Upper routing head with automatic tool changer

The upper milling unit with automatic tool change features two independent airpressure plates that ensure smooth sliding and a stable, firm grip during machining. Simultaneous air blowoff continuously removes dust and chips, so even delicate surfaces (matte or highgloss) stay completely scratch-free.
