CMT Spiral Router with Bearing
Spiral router with bearing made of solid carbide with a doubled bearing allows precise trimming of wood and wood-based materials without chipping the edges. Spiral flutes ensure better chip removal, less heating, and longer cutting edge life, increasing productivity.
Spiral router with bearing is made of solid carbide (HM). Combined with a spiral cutting angle, this provides outstanding performance and long tool life.
Spiral flutes provide a smoother surface finish, especially when working on more demanding wood pieces such as ribbed patterns (e.g., ribbed maple) and similar. The spiral shape also allows more efficient chip removal compared to standard routers.
During operation, the tools heat up less, and the cutting edges remain sharp longer, which means higher productivity and better machining quality.
Application: for trimming laminated materials along a template, as the cutter has a bearing at the tip.
The router is intended for use with hand-held routers (trimmers).
