Create a perfect wooden sphere or bowl without a lathe using the Arbortech SpheroPlane. It mounts on an angle grinder (115 mm or 125 mm) and provides an adjustable cutting radius for fast, precise shaping of curved wooden surfaces. The included sanding system delivers a smooth finish.
The SpheroPlane is compatible with the Arbortech Power Carving Unit as well as all standard 115 mm or 125 mm angle grinders.
Adjustable Milling Radius
The precision adjustment ring lets you set the exact amount of material removal and choose the mode (sphere or bowl making).
Unique Cutting
A unique cutting system with replaceable carbide blades and multi-directional guidance delivers a consistent, smooth cut.
Dust and Chip Extraction
Efficient dust and chip removal reduces mess, makes cleanup easier, and improves visibility of the workpiece.
Sanding and Milling in One
SpheroPlane® enables shaping bowls and spheres—from rough wood to a finished surface. Turn the ring to switch from milling to sanding.
Included Sanding System: flexible backing pad and discs (grits 40, 80, 120, 240) for a flawless finish.
Exceptional Durability
Constructed from precision-machined aluminium and engineering-grade plastic. Replaceable carbide teeth withstand long, aggressive use.
Safety and Control
A fully enclosed guard system reduces kickback risk and enhances safety and control during operation.
