Multi-blade Saw MRS 340M
Multi-blade Saw MRS340M is a multi-blade sawing machine with a movable saw blade, available with one or two movable blades. The motor-driven blade system provides maximum flexibility in industrial ripping and thus the highest material yield. Compared with conventional single-blade cutting, the production process is optimised by up to 3×, saving time and costs while boosting productivity without compromise.
A touch-screen lets the operator pre-set blade positions or manually move the blades to the desired setting. Each movable blade is driven by a servo motor; adjustment is carried out via a ball screw and linear guide for ultimate precision. A laser line marks the blade position, visualising the cut and increasing efficiency. If you need higher material yield and flexible ripping, the MRS 340M is ideal for series production.
The main challenge in ripping is optimising board width for maximum yield; this is where the MRS 340M saves material thanks to its movable saws. Cutting accuracy is ensured by a precision conveyor belt; machines without a chain cause lamella shift due to internal stresses. The belt offers the highest accuracy, whereas roller feeders cannot and create more waste.
