This model is engineered for woodworkers, furniture‐makers and serious hobbyists who demand excellent control when shaping oval or concave profiles. The cast body from ductile iron with hardwood bubinga handles and brass fittings ensures strength, stability and comfort. The PM-V11® (or A2) tool steel blade, 1/8″ (≈ 3.2 mm) thick, delivers outstanding edge life and finish quality. The bed angle is 45°, providing a secure cutting stance and minimal chatter. Overall length is approximately 10½″ (≈ 267 mm) and weight about 12 oz (≈ 340 g). The sole has a radius of about 1 5/16″ (≈ 33.3 mm). Dual adjustment wheels enable precise depth and skew control, with shims included to adjust the mouth opening. Made in Canada and patented.
