RICHTER straight chisel

RICHTER straight chisel is a premium chisel designed for precise hand woodworking. It belongs to the prestigious Richter series, named after the founder of Narex Bystrice, Vaclav Richter, released on the company’s centenary. The chisel combines traditional design with modern metallurgy for exceptional performance and long service life.

The blade is made of special carbon steel alloyed with chromium for better hardenability and vanadium for fine grain structure and increased toughness. The steel is heat-treated at low temperature, which allows an optimal martensite microstructure, resulting in outstanding sharpness, edge retention, and wear resistance.

The handle is made of high-quality ash wood, which is lightweight, strong, and very comfortable to hold. The traditional handle shape provides excellent control during use and is additionally reinforced with a polished steel ferrule that prevents the wood from splitting.

The chisel has a ground bevel edge, which allows access even in tight corners and precise work when making joints, carving, or fine woodworking. Each chisel is protected with anti-corrosion oil with VCI protection to remain in perfect condition until first use.
